We’re Hiring – Senior Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a talented and proven social media manager to join our growing team. Our client portfolio includes everything from household names to smaller local businesses, with a strong focus on food, drink and FMCG. The right person will have demonstrable experience in the field, an obvious passion for all things social media, and be an excellent communicator, at home with presenting to CEOs and managing directors as well as to colleagues and peers. Key recruitment criteria

The successful candidate is likely to have:

3-5 years’ experience working in dedicated social media roles. Would consider someone with 2-3 years if blue chip/intense experience

Experience working on consumer brands

Fully capable across all the following: social media planning; campaign implementation – organic and paid; community Management and associated software/tools; analysis and associated tools

Some time working client-side would be an advantage.

Personality profile

Confident and self-assured across all relationships both external and internal

Persuasive when meeting with and presenting to clients

Positive, enthusiastic and can-do with a desire to succeed

Good communicator with effective listening skills

Must be a team player

Highly organised – especially under pressure

Able to prioritise when dealing with several projects at once.

Key skills/qualifications

A good degree in any subject, or in a marketing related discipline involving social media

Good writing and grammar skills

Good numeracy skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

UK Driving Licence (desirable)

Ability to travel to client locations anywhere in the UK (desirable)

Any professional marketing/social media qualifications would be an advantage

Creative copywriting skills would be an added benefit

Some travel required around the UK/Europe

Full time contract

Mon – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, but hours are those required to complete the job

Start date : Mon 17th August 2020


Salary: Competitive

Bonus subject to company and individual performance
