About the Role

This is a pivotal role within the company responsible for the overall efficiency of the studio.  Remaining fully abreast of work through the studio you will be fully charged with ensuring projects are booked in with the relevant briefings, remain on track and creative resource is being utilised in the most effective way.  These projects will be fully tracked against set budgets with the aim of ensuring the studio is operating to 80% billable time.


  • Implementing and managing a tracking system to monitor projects in ‘real time’ against time allocated
  • Manage all projects, tasks, outputs, deadlines and creative team members to bring projects in on time and in budget
  • Setting and reviewing daily, weekly and forecast schedules of the creative team
  • Planning and amending project production schedules and reports
  • Developing and optimising existing workflow systems
  • Managing freelance creative resource ensuring freelancers are only used when absolutely necessary
  • Work in partnership with the account management team to manage peak workflows and troughs and reschedule client work where appropriate
  • Quality checking studio output against the brief
  • To assist in budget planning for individual projects
  • Develop a catalogue of past projects detailing budgeted hours against actual hours which can be used as a source of reference for planning
  • Ensure the creative team adhere to the file management system
  • To assist with Account Management / Producer tasks where required
  • Management of creative suppliers, ensuring suppliers are competitively priced, delivering high quality services and satisfy Togethers client’s contractual obligations

Personality profile

In addition to being well organised with outstanding project management skills and a sound appreciation of the creative process, your personal approach is key to your success in this role.

You will need excellent communications skills and ability to build rapport with the team. This will enable you to ensure all processes are adhered to in order to ensure the overall efficiency of the studio area.

Key skills/qualifications

  • You’re a confident communicator, both written and verbally
  • You have the ability to hit the ground running
  • You have a solid background within an agency environment
  • You demonstrate in-depth understanding of the creative process, design and artwork, motion graphics, digital, photography and video
  • You are financially astute and competent using necessary finance platforms
  • You have a high levels of computer literacy, including excel


Your official place of work is Bridlesmith House, 38 Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham, NG1 2GQ, but currently the team is working from home and you will need to have the set-up to do this in the short term.


  • Commences Monday mid-June 2021
  • Mon - Fri, 9am – 5.30pm, with potential flexibility on discussion
  • 25 days annual holiday + your Birthday day off + bank holidays


  • Dependent on experience: £ Competitive
  • Bonus dependent on company performance indicatively 1 month +/- 1 month linked to individual performance. Accrual towards bonus starts after 3 months’ service.
