About the Role

We're on the hunt for a brilliant Senior Designer to join the team in Nottingham. Brand and packaging design experience across a mix of FMCG, drinks and/or beauty brands gained in previous roles, is a must-have for anyone applying for this role. However, we're also interested in seeing integrated design experience as part of your portfolio, too. Ultimately, we’re looking for a conceptual thinker with a genuine passion for creating considered, beautifully crafted design, and there will be plenty of opportunities to hone your craft working collaboratively with some of the best people (and clients) in the industry. Our approach to remote working will continue to be flexible, but we’ll prioritise candidates excited by the prospect of working from our Nottingham studio. This position will be based in our Nottingham office for three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining two days.

Recruitment criteria

  • Generating concepts with the creative team and on your own
  • Producing sketches, storyboards and roughs to visualize ideas
  • Understanding marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience
  • Collaborating with the rest of the creative team across all types of media
  • Confidently taking work from concept to final execution
  • Presenting completed ideas to team members
  • Staying on top of all trends and maintaining best practices
  • Introducing and applying expert art direction to the visual elements of creative projects
  • Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns
  • Inspiring and motivating the agency’s clients to be creatively progressive, through the application of fresh and inventive visual work
  • Reviewing the work of designers and providing informed feedback
  • Uncovering new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into deliverables
  • All major Adobe apps should be second nature to you.

Nice to haves (but not deal breakers)

  • Experience in art directing photoshoots
  • Mastery of keynote

Full time contract.

Mon – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, but hours are those required to complete the job.

25 days annual leave (3 days reserved between Christmas and New Year’s Day) and UK Bank Holidays. Pro rata.
