About the Role

Put simply, the role is to ensure Together continues to effectively and efficiently deliver social media services to our clients. Along with the Social Media Manager you’ll manage our client’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing great content, analysing usage data and managing projects and campaigns.


  • Scheduling and management of all agreed social media activity across paid and organic social advertising for our portfolio of clients
  • Translate the client brief into the agency creative brief ensuring all elements are completed in full. Collate any additional information required from the client and other sources
  • Provide a brief to the creative team and liaise with them and the Social Media Manager throughout the creative process to ensure the brief is met.
  • Generate a production schedule for the client; track progress against this schedule throughout a project; advise clients and the Social Media Manager where project delivery deviates and/or is anticipated to deviate from the schedule and where this occurs advise action to get the project back on schedule where possible.
  • Manage social conversation for clients (community management)
  • Ensure effective implementation of content plans
  • Adherence to timings and budgets ensuring all activity is delivered on time, on brief and on budget
  • Liaise with the agency Finance Manager in requesting Profitability Reports. Reconcile the final project costs (internal and external) and submit an invoice to ensure billable time is invoiced and all costs are sold in accordance with agency/client policy.
  • Ensure the financial performance of each campaign is evaluated and documented within project folders
  • To develop in depth knowledge of the market sector the client is operating in, with awareness of key competitors and market trends. To proactively monitor this and where appropriate, ensure the client is made aware of anything of interest
  • Complete a Time Sheet accurately on a daily basis and submit each week to the Finance Manager. Billable Time should be a minimum of 80%

  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills
  • Good communicator, with effective listening skills
  • Able to prioritise when dealing with several projects at once
  • Good presentation skills – both in preparation and delivery
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • UK Driving License (desirable)
  • Ability to travel to client locations anywhere in the UK and abroad

Key skills/qualifications

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Degree in Marketing or Social Media related course
  • Minimum 2 years, social media executive experience
  • In-agency experience and working across multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Significant experience working across multiple social platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat
  • Experience setting up, running and reporting on paid social
  • Experience working on brands comparable to the scale/stature of Together clients
  • Experience working with Facebook Business Manager and scheduling tools such as Falcon


Your official place of work is Bridlesmith House, 38 Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham, NG1 2GQ, but currently the team is working from home and you will need to have the set-up to do this in the short term.


Permanent contract

Mon - Fri, 9am – 5.30pm, with potential flexibility on discussion

25 days annual holiday + your Birthday day off + bank holidays


  • Dependent on experience: £21 – 24k pa
  • Bonus dependent on company performance indicatively 1 month +/- 1 month linked to individual performance. Accrual towards bonus starts after 3 months’ service.
