About the Role

Our work in social is growing rapidly and so we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team in a client-facing role across a number of these organisations.

You’ll be responsible for working closely with clients to develop quarterly/monthly plans that align with our established objectives and strategy. You’ll then take these and, with the input of our team of designers and writers, translate them into live campaigns both organic and paid. Throughout this process you will be working with stakeholders across the business, both internally and externally. You will be fully charged with ensuring projects remain within planned scope, are delivered on time and everyone associated remains included and informed of issues and developments at all times.

You’ll be joining an agency that places great emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. Most of us are currently working from home, but in the course of the next few weeks/months we will return to part of the week being in the agency, whilst retaining flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Running the social media across a number of clients with a focus on:

  • Social media planning;
  • Creative development – organic and paid content;
  • Influencer campaigns;
  • Scheduling;
  • Community Management;
  • Analysis and associated tools
  • Liaising daily with both internal and external stakeholders to keep everything tight and on track

Recruitment criteria

  • Demonstrable track record of success in Social Media, working agency-side in dedicated social media roles – we ‘re open to candidates with only client-side experience but you’ll need to show a breadth of exposure to brands and tools.

Personality profile

  • Confident and self-assured with a truly positive and upbeat approach
  • An excellent communicator, fiercely inclusive and a great listener
  • Adept at building positive relationships with clients, suppliers and internally within the agency
  • Highly organised, efficient and process driven
  • A fantastic plate spinner and able to prioritise when dealing with several projects at once

Key skills/qualifications

  • Experience working on consumer brands comparable to the scale and stature of Together clients
  • Exceptional experience of defining and improving processes and procedures which may need to vary according to a client’s individual needs
  • A degree would be helpful but a demonstrable track record in our space is even better
  • Knowledge of supporting and developing integrated social strategy with associated skills in insight generation and analytics would be helpful
  • An appreciation and understanding of how social sits in wider digital strategies

Location

This position will be based from our Nottingham office, however, we are flexible to consider a combination of home/office working for the right person.

Terms

Full time contract.

Mon – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, but hours are those required to complete the job.

25 days annual leave (3 days reserved between Christmas and New Year’s Day) and UK Bank Holidays. Pro rata.
