ith six shops across London, Chicken Shop needed a tasty campaign for Freshers Week. The brief was simple – to increase footfall and get freshers through the doors with a creative campaign live streamed on social media.L
ondon Freshers week can be a crowded space to say the least. We needed a campaign that was going to cut through the noise, intriguing and enticing the students of London down to one of the 6 Chicken Shop locations. So we decided to create a peaceful protest to bring back the flavour. On a mission to stick it to the man selling flavourless chicken, we hired a team of 16 actors and headed down south.We sent a crew of TikTokers, reelers, protest leaders and a peaceful mob of hippy chicks onto the streets of London to cause up a stir, all in the name of chicken. Equipped with banners, signs, discount flyers and a protest chant, we immediately grabbed the attention of many, many freshers. And on the sidelines the whole time? Our social team. They documented the protest day in day out for 5 days straight. Creating reels, TikToks, live streams, posts and stories.
