Crumpton Oaks Cider Co needed a social media strategy that was as fresh as the fruit that goes into their cider. We knew their accounts already had a loyal following, but we needed to expand on this. Through audience profiling, purpose-led content, community management and influencer campaigns.
Working together with the client, our social media team embarked on the mission to improve their reach and engagement figures on Facebook and Instagram. We started with audience profiling. Using insights from Falcon, Facebook and customer data provided by the client, we created the typical consumer of Crumpton.
The results found that the brand wouldn’t resonate with the middle-class cider drinker, instead we had to look towards the more working-class consumer. Pitcher this - a can of cider and a packet of crisps.
Using our dedicated community manager, we started to connect and converse with the right societies. We created content that was product-heavy, sport themed, reactive to memes, humorous and offered the opportunity to win competitions and giveaways.
