When iconic 90s drinks brand Hooch asked us to bring a fresh twist to their socials, the Together team rose to the challenge, creating a strategic campaign, starring in some of the brand’s most successful posts and going viral three times… all in our first quarter.
Born in the 90s and relaunched in 2012, Hooch alcoholic lemon brew has been shaking things up since the very first drop was poured. A nostalgic classic now loved by a new generation of ravers and misbehavers, the brand wanted stronger socials, and turned to Together for help.
We took on their social strategy, content and management, using a phased approach to drive customers through the conversion funnel – from awareness to interest to desire to action. With the aim of increasing brand and product awareness, driving website traffic and increasing sales, we used a mix of paid social (Facebook, Instagram, X and Google ads) and organic social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X), creating branded static posts, carousels, videos and reels.
These included competitions, merch-based posts, collabs with bars and bartenders, influencer posts and nostalgia-based content referencing 90s culture. We created popular videos on the theme of Gen Z vs Millennials, and even featured heavily in content ourselves, appearing as the Hooch team in some of the brand’s most successful posts to date.
In our first quarter managing the Hooch socials, we achieved some impressive results, seeing a dramatic improvement in website performance, building real momentum, gathering powerful insights to fuel future optimisations and, of course, notching up these juicy figures…
